Run an event on several dates

Set up a class, tour or weekly night once, and sell tickets for each date.

A recurring event is one event with a list of dates: a weekly class, a comedy night every Friday, a play with several performances. You set it up once, and buyers choose which date they're coming to.

Create it

  1. Press New event, name it, and choose free or paid and where it's held.
  2. Choose Recurring event.
  3. Set the first date and its start time. Press Add another date for each one after that. You can add up to 100, and each date has its own time.
  4. Press Create event.

Your ticket types apply to every date, but each date sells separately. So a ticket type with 30 available has 30 for each date, and one date can sell out while others still have space.

Add, change or remove dates

  1. Go to Event settings.
  2. Press the dates line under the description.
  3. To add a date, pick it and its time, then press Add date. It's saved straight away.
  4. Press the pencil to change a date, or the bin to remove one.

A date that has sold tickets can't be removed: refund or move those tickets first. An event always keeps at least one date. The timezone applies to every date.

Selling and checking in by date

  • Buyers see your coming dates on the event page, choose one, then pick their tickets for it.
  • The Dates tab on the event shows tickets sold and checked in for each date. Press a date to see its orders. Use Upcoming, Past and All to switch between them.
  • Checking in: open the event and press Check in at the top. You choose the date first, and only tickets for that date are accepted. See Check guests in with your phone camera.
