Set up your tickets
Add ticket types, set prices, fees and sale prices, and control how many you sell.
Every event has one or more ticket types, such as Standard, Student or VIP. You manage them from the event's Event settings, under Tickets and checkout.
Add a ticket type
- Open the event and go to Event settings.
- In Tickets and checkout, press Add ticket.
- Enter a Ticket name, and a Description if you like (it's shown to buyers).
- Set the Price and Number available. Leave Number available empty for no limit.
- Press Add ticket. It's saved and on sale straight away.
Booking fees and sale prices
For paid events, the ticket form has two extras:
- Add booking fee: a fee per ticket, added on top of the price and paid by the buyer.
- Add sale price: a lower price until a date and time you choose. Buyers see the full price crossed out, with a countdown, and it goes back to the full price by itself. It's ideal for early-bird offers.
You can also charge a fee once per order under Fees, limits and VAT.
Change, hide, duplicate or delete
Each ticket shows its price, fee and how many have sold. On its row:
- Pencil: change anything, even after it has started selling. Press Save changes in the form.
- Copy: make a duplicate to edit — quicker than starting again.
- Bin: delete it. You can't delete a ticket type that has sold; hide it instead.
To hide a ticket without deleting it, edit it and switch off On sale. Buyers can't choose it any more, and tickets already sold aren't affected. It's shown as Inactive in your list.
Limits and settings for the whole event
Press Fees, limits and VAT (or Ticket limits for free events) for:
- Total capacity: caps sales across every ticket type, for when they share one room.
- Most tickets per order: stops one person buying too many.
- Take waitlist sign-ups when tickets sell out.
- Group tickets into categories: for events with lots of ticket types (e.g. Single nights and Weekend passes). Buyers can browse and search them.
- Paid events: a per-order booking fee, and VAT (added on top of the price or already included).
These settings are kept when you press Save changes in the bar at the bottom of the page.
