Simple, flat ticketing pricing
TicketOtter costs 40p + VAT per paid ticket sold. There are no percentages, plans or monthly fees, and every feature is included.
What you pay
- Paid tickets: 40p + VAT per ticket sold, billed monthly in arrears.
- Free events: nothing. We don’t charge our 40p on free events, and £0 tickets skip Stripe’s processing fees too.
- Payment processing: Stripe’s own fee applies to paid orders and goes to Stripe, not us. Its standard UK card rate is 1.5% + 20p; other cards cost more.
Worked example: 500 tickets at £20

Stripe’s 20p is per order, so orders with several tickets cost less. Your ticket revenue goes straight into your own Stripe account.
Make it zero cost with a booking fee
You can add your own booking fee to cover your TicketOtter costs and offset payment processing, or keep it as extra revenue. It’s your choice.
Frequently asked questions
Does TicketOtter take a percentage of ticket sales?
No. TicketOtter charges a flat 40p + VAT per paid ticket sold and never takes a percentage. Stripe’s payment processing fee is separate.
Is there a monthly fee?
No. Your tickets are added up and charged to your card once a month, and a month with no paid tickets costs nothing.
Do I need a card to start?
No. You can create an account and build your event without a credit card.
